This stuff is fireproof and incredibly strong with a 30 thousand PSI tensile strength. It would not even burn with a Map gas torch blasting it from an inch away.
This material offered is a structural material made in a large industrial process, even used to build multi story buildings and in chemical processing plants. Use it for making backing plates, mast base or steps, bow sprits, engine mounts, bulkheads, transom repair, samson posts, islands under deck hardware etc.
