We presently make custom replacement anchor rollers for most boats under 60 feet. We produce these with black Acetal (see data sheet) in our own US production facilities so can produce other sizes and shapes. We do CAD designs before doing any production which we provide for your records and for confirmation that we will make what you really need. See images below as a guide however we can make variations to these. For example if you are using a Rocna anchor the anchor shaft has a flat edge so a groove would need to also be flat. Let us know what you need, a street address so we can calculate shipping and a PayPal email address so we can send you a PayPal invoice. We also accept checks.

1/ Choose a style from list below. Here is an article from Rocna about design.
2/ Measure the end diameter
3/ Measure the length
4/ Use calipers and measure the diameter of the bolt or spacer that runs through the center hole. Do not measure the hole in the old roller as it will be worn and probably incorrect.
5/ Send the information with the type of anchor and your details to us via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
6/ We will send you a quote within 24 hours. If you do not hear from us then please contact us again.

Remember that we can cut the bottom of the center groove flat for rectangle shaped anchor shafts.

Style 6:

10 degree sloped sides and a groove in the center.

Style 7:

Straight cut inner sides that can be angled, typically 60 or 45 degrees. With or without a groove in the center.

Typical prices for under 7" length, note that bushings are not required for these. Can also make smaller sizes.
Please note that we charge a $20.00 fee for the CAD drawings for your boat records and confirmation. Up to 3 changes can be made at no additional cost.
If paying by PayPal we will add the Paypal fee. No surcharge if paying by check.

Actual costs for the Acetal at ePlastics before shipping to us.
Due to major price increases for 5" and 6" diameter materials and high weight thus freight charge costs, prices to be determined on request.

I am extremely pleased with the great service on a custom anchor roller (sheave) made for me by Captain Don of MeriMarine. My boat had an issue with a twisting anchor chain due to the design of its original roller, and Don was immensely helpful in helping me with a new custom-made roller that fits the boat perfectly and seems to completely eliminate the chain-twist I was experiencing.

I found Don very easy to work with, and I appreciate that he sent me a CAD drawing of the roller I spec'd before commencing work. I found the new roller a perfect copy of what the drawing showed.

If you need custom anchor rollers designed, and excellent service on your order, Capt. Don at MeriMarine.com is your man! FIVE STARS

Don was very persistent in ensuring all measurements were precisely correct prior to machining. Received the anchor roller shortly after manufacture. Beautiful piece, fits the anchor and chain like a glove.

The roller has held up perfectly. Spent 6 months in the Bahamas. Anchored every night. We use a 45lb Mantus.

Hi Don
I received the chain roller a couple of days ago.  I am a relatively experienced machinist myself, a necessity as an experimental physicist. I want to say that your workmanship is outstanding. I couldn't have come close to the job you did.
Thanks very much.

Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that my anchor roller wheel arrived. It fit perfectly, and looks like a work of art! I got the 5" type #5 roller, and it is better than anything that I could find online or in stores.

Thank you so much, Bill Bischoff, M/V Ansedonia.

I needed 2 anchor rollers and he has replaced sheaves for a mainsheet on a friends raceboat for me. He double checked my measurements (which saved me time getting new ones made which would have been my own fault) and is a wealth of knowledge. I asked to have blocks added to a mainsheet, instead he went through the engineering problems and options and made the recommendation I buy a 6:1 system. He has saved me time, money (even though it didn't benefit him) and consider him a reason my boat operates so smoothly. Thanks for the advice but more importantly thanks for being a friend instead of just another corporation!

Don made 2 sheaves for our bow roller that fit perfectly. Additionally, after verifying measurements and giving him the go-ahead, I had sheaves in my mailbox in 4 days. Great service!
