If you need sheaves call me at 304 723-4553 or contact me.
I am on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/don.green.969
I custom make them out of black acetal (see data sheet) so they are UV resistant and much stronger than cast plastic or Polyethylene sheaves.

Presently can make up to 6" diameter. Let us know the following details:

1/ Line diameter
2/ Measure the sheave diameter at the widest points. (Diameter)
3/ Measure the length between 2 sides. (Width)
4/ Use calipers and measure the diameter of the bolt / shaft or spacer that runs through the center hole. Do not measure the hole in the old sheave as it will be worn and probably incorrect.
5/ Let us know preferred style from the 3 below.
6/ Acetal is a low friction bushing material so bushings are not generally added.

Send the information and your details to us via the form here: http://dreamgreen.org/contact
We will send you a quote within 24 hours

Style #1 sheaves below which are the most common way we make them. The sides are cut back to reduce friction.
Style is used when cutting back the sides as in style 2 would leave a knife edge which would be weak and shorten the life span of the sheave.
Traditionally Bronze bushing were often used in sheaves however by using Acetal bushings are no longer required.

We carry Acetal material up to 6" diameter. Custom sheaves typically cost between $20 and $40, anchor roller sheaves are more.
All are custom made and normally ship within 24 hrs. Please contact to order.

Sheaves

Style #2 sheaves below with extended hub and cut back face which reduces side friction.
This style is used when the sheaves are thick enough to prevent a knife edge next to the groove.

Sail boat replacement sheaves

Style #3: Flat sided.
These are shown with iGlide bushings but we no longer install them.
Generally made this way only on small diameter sheaves.

Don made new sheaves for our boom during a re-fit of our aluminum sailing yacht. He was very responsive and completed the work super fast and perfectly. I'm glad I trusted myself to check with Don before spending tons of money elsewhere. Well done!

It was refreshing to work with Don on our rollers. I talked to him Before the sun came up and he had three parts shipped out by end of day. Unbelievable! Thx Don!

Needed new anchor roller wheel for my Scanmar 33, it has an oem specific anchor roller with an uncommon sized wheel. ย Don was able to make the wheels fit to spec and deliver it quickly for use the same weekend.

Thanks Don!

As Capt Scott said , they fit like a glove on the Leopard 45/47 boom , and with my larger squarehead mainsail , I could not take a chance with the higher leach loads exploding one of the cast sheaves .
Very well made and an awesome price .
Thanks Don

These sheaves are the perfect fit for the boom ends on a Leopard 45/47 for the outhaul and reefing lines. I had the Budget Marine brand and these are better fit and material. These lines are TOO critical to have sheaves fail, so I replaced them ALL!
